NU Offers Scholarship for Young Aspiring Entrepreneurs

Northwood University is pleased to announce the Betsy and Dick DeVos Scholars for Free-Enterprise and Entrepreneurship Scholarship Competition. This is an annual scholarship available to new students in the full-time BBA or four-year BBA/MBA program. The students who win the renewable scholarship competition will receive up to $10,000. This may be combined with Academic Merit Scholarships which can be over $10,000 per year and other awards for which they may qualify.

The awards are based upon submission of a scholarship application and essay by February 10, 2012, academic merit and a student’s demonstrated talent in entrepreneurship in which the student must submit a demonstrated entrepreneurship activity in which they participated or initiated. In addition, a visit to the Michigan Campus is required on February 18, 2012, February 25, 2012, or March 3, 2012, for applicants to make their presentation/interview. Students must describe how their activity aligns with entrepreneurship, free-enterprise and the meaning of the American Dream.Northwood University President Keith A.
